Koichi is one of most well-known technical diver and technical diving instructors in Japan.

Koichi became a dedicated technical diver in 1999. Since then, he has been seeking the knowledge and technology and skills as a technical diver without staying. Koichi is currently instructor-trainer of IANTD. He has been doing education of technical divesr and technical diving instructors. Also he has been working diligently on the exploration, research and introduction of new dive sites.

In addition, he performs search activities at special underwater environment requests by japanese police riot police, also he is doing the education of the diving in the special environments and situations for Japanese Coast Guard and the under water shooting department of broadcasters.

On the other hand, He had published some books about diving in Japan and have been contributing photos and videos, articles to various media. He always wish to be understood and recognized that Diving is a meaningful activity.

Koichi started to dive with side mount system on 2008 at the cave in Mexico. 2012, he met the Razor side mount system. since then, he has been gaining of the experiences of side mount diving in a variety of dive sites with Razor system.

Koichi has always enjoyed Diving. He continues to pursue more pleasure, more safty and higher possibility of Diving. Also he continues to work for increase the fellows who tackle seriously to Diving.
